Gatherings are encouraged at WVC. A variety of flexible event spaces, lodging for 2-28 guests, available to set you up for any type of event including: micro wedding, birthday party, anniversary, bachelorette, bachelor, reunion or graduation. All our guests need is to choose their offsite catering vendor. We are here to make your main event extra special.
Available items: Coolers, tables, chairs, tent, beverage holders, candle holders, ice maker, grill, grilling tools, serving platters/bowls and serving ware. (also if we don’t have what you need ask and we can try to assist)
We are here to make the planning and organization seamless so all you have to do is to arrive with your guests and enjoy your time with us!
Weathervane Cottages is the place for a magical occasion that connects you with nature on Aquidneck Island
Use of The Lawn, The Woods, The Courtyard or the Patio all are available for you to explore and celebrate a ceremony, a party, an event, a game night all on our natural setting, on the west side of Aquidneck Island. YOU customize a plan, inclusive of your stay, and your decisions are unlimited, giving you peace of mind to truly enjoy your Love, your Family, your Friends, or Associates.
Celebration Events
We book a limited number of micro-weddings, birthdays or graduations or reunions per season and love being the location where such important moments are celebrated and lasting memories are made. Our guests love the “one-stop-shop” nature of our property.

Lodging as part of your Celebration
Part of what sets us apart is the ability to stay right here on the property during your small gathering celebration. This allows your occasion to truly transform from a venue to a place to call home while you prepare for your special day or event. From a two bedroom Bungalow with full kitchen or add in additional cottages or glamping tents with room to share meals with others to lodging that can sleep up to 28 of your favorite people but with each having own privacy in the sleeping accommodation and baths.
Our list of event offerings is quite complete: – lodging, catering support, bar & ice set up, decor, tables, chairs, tents, candles, vases and assistance with rentals, …and a list of recommended vendors who can be engaged as collaborators. You only have to pack your bags and head to Aquidneck Island!
